Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM), formerly Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS), provides a comprehensive solution for managing the entire lifecycle of user identities. It provides identity synchronisation that works with all common enterprise components (directories, operating systems, databases, messaging systems and applications) in heterogenous environments. The lastest version also provides facilities for the management of user credentials (such as certificates and passwords) and can easily be integrated as part of a user provisioning solution.
